I don't have any pictures of this, things happen way too quickly, but over the last few weeks the animals have been getting to know Nat. At first they were all a little stand offish, except for Zara who was so wild and frightened and excited that she mostly had to stay away. The cats found the whole thing rude and couldn't understand why we kept kicking them out of the room at night.
Well we have had a whole house full of strangers for about 3 weeks straight and as the strangers came and went, the cats realized that Nat was 1) here to stay and 2) one of the normal ones so they might as well get to know him. As we have all gotten comfortable with each other, we have been leaving the bedroom door open at night, the cats have both started sleeping at the foot of the bed again, it is their space by the way. And when Nat cries or needs his diaper changed they get up, look around, make sure everything is ok and then go back to bed.
Elphaba, for about the last week has started following me (ie Nat) whereever I go. If we are changing him, she is on the floor just out of reach, if we are feeding him, she is sitting on the corner of the couch, we have gotten used to this, but Percy has seemed to continue to resent this baby coming home. However, yesterday while I was nursing Nat in the bedroom on the bed, not a normal place during the day, Percy came in jumped on the bed and tried to climb into my lap as close to Nat as possible. I don't know if this is getting used to Nat or missing me, but it was sure dang cute and one more step on the road to progress with the integration of all the "babies". Also as the guests have narrowed down to one we have been able to let Zara out a little more and she is getting used to the baby. She is still jealous which means she is all over the person NOT holding the baby, but she is also mostly relaxed and still listens to her commands, as much as she ever did before.
It is all a big adventure, and we actually can't wait until Nat is big enough he notices the animals and wants to play with them. YEA FOR PETS

Yes about 4 months he will just stare at them & prefer them as entertainment rather than any toy. Jasper is Avery's favorite torture toy. He's good with her though.
That sounds about right for older brothers and sisters! ;)
