Bumps and Bruises

Bug has had a hard couple of weeks. For a very active and no fears sort of child, he has had relatively few mishaps that have ended in scrapes, bruises, blood or anything of that sort. In the last 2 weeks we have begun making up for it.

On Sunday (almost 2 weeks ago) he was refusing to go to bed, so A went up stairs with him to just play in the room for a bit before sleep. Bug decided to climb in and out of the crib (he does not sleep in anymore) and he lost his balance. His father tried to catch him and missed but caught his thumb on Bug's eye. resulting in a nice scrape and a black eye.

The next morning
This week on Monday, first he fell off of our bed and got a fat lip!

That night he fell at a picnic, running on the concrete and scraped up the rest of his face.

I am sure these are not the end of his bumps and bruises, but we hope it is for a little bit.
