ZOO

We have a membership to the zoo, so on days that I feel like going we get up and go early. Which means we miss most of the crowds, we get done and back home before it gets too hot and we often get to see the animals while they are up and moving. Today was especially wonderful for this...
The gorilla was right up in the window and talking with a family before we arrived, but by the time I got the camera out he had moved on.

These cats were up and walking around their whole paddock for a good five minutes and as soon as I took this picture I realized there was a 4th cat closer to us laying down in the shade.

This is one of the "snow" tigers, different from the 4 above. He came right up to the glass and touched his nose out. Baba was so excited.

We we first got to the elephants mom, dad and baby were all together, but the baby wandered off while I was getting the camera and of course mom followed being the good mom that she is.

It's hard to see the monkeys but there were a couple swinging around.

Bug was telling me about the monkey who was taking a bath.

My "monkeys" playing at the playground.

We had a great time at the zoo, except the special feature this year is dinosaurs, there are large animated replicas around the park, most of them roar and a few of them spray water, Bug was not impressed and promptly and frequently told me we needed to go home now while jumping into my arms and burying his head.
