For the last 2 months or so I have been busy participating in our community production of the Wizard of Oz. This year I did the business side of things and was the assistant director and stage manager. I have been in a lot of plays in my life, but I have never really thought about how much time goes into the behind the scenes to make it all work. Sad to say, my mother has directed or choreographed many shows in my life time as well and I still never paid attention. Anyway, it seemed to take over my life and for the first time in my living memory I even started having nightmares. Anyway the show went really well, I was very proud of the cast and crew and enjoyed the work that I did. However I don't know if I will want to take on that level of stress again or just stay on the stage playing away.
Also we have had more family visits, cousins coming to stay and fun things we have tried to do. We have stayed busy.
So this is my explanation of where we have been and hopefully life will slow down a little bit and we will have time for uploading some pictures. Enjoying my garden. Playing more with the boys and catching you up on our lives.
