Happy Bday BUG 3 yrs!!!

We were going to have a whole weekend of Construction, but it snowed. The boys had fun in the cold, and today we survived. Sunday throws birthdays into a whole new light. We couldn't really play and the time change played havoc with everyone's psyche, but as I said, we survived. Dinner and the cake were awesome and no matter how hard we try we over did the presents, but he had so much fun!!! Luckily there was a small accident of present giving. We had planned the "digger cake" and had all the diggers, but my mom got the exact same set which meant... They both had diggers to play with, lucky accidents.

It was a very busy day but so much more fun now that the boys understand what is going on.

Other than the craziness of today I LOVE this little boy. He has been growing up so quickly recently talking so much more (he loves the long words), getting into trouble, being a very good big brother, and getting a little bossy,  we are working on being polite, but some days it seems harder than others. He is total boy and loves all things mechanical; trucks, diggers, boats, trains, planes, garbage trucks, etc... I know more about big machines than I ever thought that I would. Some days this boy is so independent he needs to do everything, but he still loves his hugs, cuddles and awesome praise. He's the best big brother, the best first son and I am looking forward to the next year of growing!
