We had a good weekend several weeks ago, when we took our annual trip to Red Canyon Lodge. The weather wasn't as nice as last year, and Baba wasn't feeling all that well, but we enjoyed getting away for a few days, not having access to phones and as always spending time with my parents.

My birthday came and went without much snow (a first) and I realized I must be getting older because I didn't mind at all that there weren't presents to open. The weekend at the cabin was my preferred present and it was great. The boys were really excited about the cake and blowing out candles and we are looking forward to Baba's bday in a couple of weeks.
