Yesterday we blessed our baby girl. For those of you who aren't LDS this is when we officially name the child to be placed on the records of the church, as well as giving them a blessing to help as a guide in life. Anyway, it was a pretty special day. She dressed up in her white dress, the dress I wore when I was blessed. We had several family members come as well as a few friends. I feel very blessed to have these people in our lives and to share such a day with us. After church, we all congregated at our home for a light luncheon and time to visit and hold the baby. We had a few family pictures taken, but not with my camera and I had to get her redressed to take these pictures today, but she was beautiful. The whole day was lovely and I am so excited for her future and I just hope I can be a good mother and be what she needs me to be as she grows.
