Getting Away

A and I took a little break this weekend. We dropped the boys off with my parents, we stayed one night with them and got up early and hit the road. We took the baby and headed back to Salt Lake for a funereal, then we back tracked to Park City. We took it pretty easy, we didn't make a thousand plans and although I would have loved to be able to go and do a few more things, it was more about relaxing, refocusing and spending time together. A walked main street looking for dinner and caramel apples. We only found the apples after not being able to decide on the cuisine we both felt like, but it was a nice walk, cool and we managed to miss most of the crowds, as we drove to find somewhere to park there were people, families everywhere, by the time we parked and got onto the street the families had gone in to eat and the late night groups hadn't come out yet, it was just about perfect.

The next morning we had planned on doing some shopping at the outlets, but as we were getting dressed we realized we had both forgotten a couple of things so we were planning on driving back home when I got the brilliant idea to stay behind with Rory and do the shopping allowing A to drive home. (I really hate the drive from Park City to Salt Lake, it stresses me out). So thats what we did. I managed to get the shopping done we had planned on doing and just a little window browsing, when I walked out to find somewhere to sit down and wait A called on the phone, timing couldn't have been better. We had a good time together.

Next time no baby!
