I am loving having a girl I finally get to make cute outfits. Plus the nicest thing about baby dresses is they can't really go out of style. My mom gave me a few patterns to try and who knows how old they are or if she made them for her children (and if she did the baby is now 30). But these dresses were fun and enough of a challenge to feel like I accomplished something to get them completed.
The ivory one was made specifically for a petticoat but while I was getting fabric I thought it would be fun to do something for the fall/ holidays so I got fabric for the orangery one too. I can't wait for the weather to turn enough to let her wear these.

very, very cute! How is it possible that mom is still carrying around patterns for baby clothes? You'd think with all the moves they'd be LONG gone!
