Bug turned 6 this year, and we hosted his first friend birthday party, as well as a little gathering with some of the family.

Birthday party with 8 other little friends. Policeman themed and we had a great time. They raced donut eating, pinned badges on the sheriff, and opened presents. Luckily it was one of the last beautiful days of the season and they played outside as much as they could.

Bug is such a wonderful little boy, he is getting so grown up. He is liking school, most of it. "There is too much reading and writing", but other than that he is learning and enthusiastic. He is still tall, 84 1/2 inches. He can be so serious all of the time, and still focuses on "community helpers". He is learning to be responsible, doing chores, and learning all his kindergarten items. He can still be a little bit of a drama king, but he loves his siblings so much and likes to take care of them. He is stubborn and sensitive and strong. Bug is our director, he likes it when everyone follows his plan and is a natural leader. He has an amazing memory and overall is a joy to be around. He is a blessing in our family.
