Getting to Bellingham, it was a long drive to start our trip, but we tried to make it as fun as possible.
We got up early and headed out the door, the kids were so excited to start, but crashed in the morning.
Everytime we stopped we tried to get out and stretch legs. At one stop we had the kids run laps...
They found a giant tree.
That first night we stopped in Kenniwick, WA where we stayed in a hotel, took the kids swimming and had one of the most interesting waiters for our meal. Everything was late, and many things were wrong. He gave us an entire handful of silverware and steak knives just as we were asking for our check. But we gave him credit because we could tell he was really trying.
