A still works for Convergys and has had some really good growth opportunities and more challenges to wade through, but he does seem to enjoy the stress of it (at least some days). He is currently serving in the YM's program as the Deacon advisor and the assistant scout master. He has always enjoyed working with the youth, even when they too are a challenge.
While we have been here in KY I have worked for a couple of local hotels, in the sales and catering departments, I have enjoyed learning and seeing how other industries work with the food and "catering" for their functions. It is totally different than being in a self catering situation or even in a restaurant. I have officially finished working and am enjoying that even more. I have been working on a couple of quilts (hopefully the baby's will be done in time). Also just trying to get the house baby friendly. Trying to shift all of our "storage" space around has been a bigger challenge than I first thought. But luckily the scouts are having a yard sale that I have been able to donate to as I find things we really don't need anymore. We have got the nursery set up, well at least the crib, and we purchased our travel system so we are now in the waiting game. As I get bigger each week and I am finding my mobility and energy disappearing at about the same rate, maybe because it takes so much energy just to bend over, I am running out of the desire for the other projects I haven't gotten to yet. However, I have enjoyed playing with the animals who are never far from my shadow no matter what I am working on. As for the church I am still working with the music. The choir recently voted to change practice time and it has brought in a few more couples. I think I am now at a steady 10 people, but that makes me feel wonderful, we have a great time together and I believe that even though we are small our music invites the spirit.
