We were able to come home yesterday, and we are getting settled with our new arrival and figuring out what to do. The animals have accepted his presence without too much drama, Zara was really excited so we gave her extra time to get used to the smells and noises before we let her roam the house. She did really well, and I think that life will just move forward. The cats both find this child smelling and loud, but it doesn't really affect them!
Sorry to claim this so absolutely, but Nat is the cutest baby in the world! We are loving every minute, even the sticky diapers, urine all over all of the clothes and no set sleeping pattern, all of that will calm down eventually.
We are a blossoming family and it's exciting.
