Wow the last week or so has been true to the holiday time and full full full. We celebrated with my extended family at our annual Christmas Party. This is the boys with my grandparents...

and Santa. They didn't get scared of him, Bug was more interested in the candy cane and Baba didn't have much emotion at all.
This last Sunday was the Stake Choir (church) Christmas Devotional. This year I was able to help by reading some of the narration parts as well as sing. It was a good program and a nice way to celebrate the season.

We spent this week catching up on appointments. Bug and I attended the Dentist, I was the only patient, but I took him along so he can start getting used to the idea before he goes in a year (remember there are only 2 appointments between now and then). He only freaked out for a minute when they asked him to stand in the hall while I got x-rays, so one of the ladies took him down the hall for a special treat, he came back with a toy truck. Then he was happy as a clam. He played and watched with avid interested, there were lots of tools and some made noises. Besides he thinks that getting his teeth brushed is an exciting event everyday. It was good. Hopefully he will be that good when its his turn to sit in the seat.

The boys had a play-date yesterday and had a wonderful time. I still get nervous leaving them, but I know I need to get better at it so that I can have breaks occasionally too.

We are almost ready for Christmas, no tree again this year, this time because I am a little lazy and haven't had time, plus my entire tree is glass ornaments and I wasn't ready for that battle. Next year we will get it up in time and I think make ornaments like popcorn strings, gingerbread men and candy canes, child friendly and fun!
