This year was a little crazy with everything else going on and I never got around to making any of the "outfits" I wanted to for Rory, so I made it a priority to get her Christmas dress done. I bought this fabric some time ago, the white has printed holly on it, and I had planned on just leaving it white and green, but when I got to cutting the fabric it seemed so transparent that I decided to add an underskirt of red tulle so a red bow just seemed fitting.
When I had her try it on, she kept saying "don't like it, it hurts me" "it's not pink" but once it was finished and I had her stand in front of the mirror she saw her pretty "tutu" and hasn't fought to wear each week. (She does look cute next to the tree).
