St. Patrick's Day

I love this holiday, I don't know if it's because very important people celebrate their birthday on this date, or if it's my obsession with all things Irish, or it's just another opportunity to sort of dress up, but I always love to celebrate.

This year it snuck up on me a little so we didn't have as much creativity as I have tried in the past, but the kids had a good day. We ate green oatmeal for breakfast, and had "our traditional dinner" Reuben sandwiches. I got them all special leprechaun socks and Ali Baba had a leprechaun come to school, and they all learned about pinching those with out green.

Plus, I have my own little red-headed leprechaun's.

Ali Baba had to wear the green pants that his dad found in a box from his childhood.
