Our boys have become much more vocal over the last few months, and their intelligence astounds me. Bug has a memory "like an elephant", even things I don't think he hears he recalls at the most logical moments. Anyway, during our long drive to Colorado we had some pretty boring moments and then we had this conversation.
As we are driving by a feed lot:
US: Boys can you see all the cows?
Boys: Cows? Where are they?
a few minutes go by...
BUG: "Mom we need to stop, sister is stinky, she needs a diaper change"
US: "No Bug that smell is the cows"
BUG: "Oh... those baby cows are stinky, their mommas need to change their diapers".
US: uncontrollable laughter, "The momma cows need to change the baby cows diapers"?
BUG: "Yes, they are really stinky and need to be taken care of".
We love this little guy, he keeps us laughing and makes us wonder at our world.
