Vacation- CONTINUES

We had a little bit of a harder trip on Saturday, we seemed to always be off schedule so we had to make a few more stops, but we still managed to have a lot of fun. Our "noon" stop when we really let the children get out and play was in Gothenburg, NE. We found a park in the middle of this charming town lined by trees and old homes and the added bonus of a Pony Express Museum.

 

We made it to my sisters house, and the boys crashed, they were allowed to sleep with their cousin Happy and they slept really well.

Sunday we attended church (or tried too) and just had a normal Sunday, quiet, catching up and enjoying being together, but no pictures.

Monday, we played at home and ran a few errands and then we all went to the Nelson-Atkins sculpture museum. We had a great time running around the grounds and running up and down the stairs.

Bug & Happy- I love this.

Tuesday: ZOO
We went to the Zoo this morning, and mostly had a good time, after a late rough night and early morning the kiddos admittedly weren't in the best of moods, but we loved watching the polar bear, and riding the train. After the zoo we grabbed some "Oklahoma Joe's BBQ" and went to a park to eat where the kids could just run and play. (no picts sorry)

We are having a great time, even if the bed time has gotten a little chaotic. The boys love playing together and Rory has been easy going and loving all the attention from 2 more little people. It's beautiful here and we love seeing all the architecture (I would love an old home) and we are starting to adapt to the humidity.
