Christmas Day

The kids awoke around 7 am (usual time in our house). They asked to go downstairs, not into the tree and presents. Actually I went and turned on a movie for them, while I went to "freshen" up. Bug comes in to the room< "Mom what day is it?" me "Thursday", Bug taking a moment, eyes get big "Is today Christmas?" me "Yes, go downstairs" and he did. 

Ali Baba woke up a few minutes later I had time to put water on the stove for hot chocolate and pull out the pastries for breakfast. They were so excited for Santa. 

 and the kitchen we couldn't hide.

We made them eat breakfast before we opened up anything else. They had a good time opening presents and enjoyed each item.

We also woke up to a Winter Wonderland, white Christmas was wonderful!!
